About Agnès Humeau:
From her earliest days, Agnès was quickly spotted and encouraged in her musical career. She then trained professionally with great musicians: in the class of Françoise Gneri at the Paris Conservatory (CRR), then at the Geneva University of Music (HEM) in those of Máté Szűcs, principal viola of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, then Miguel Da Silva, member of the Ysaÿe Quartet. She brilliantly obtained her Bachelor's degree there in 2022 with honors and is now continuing her training in a Master's degree in Musical Performance at the HEM in Geneva, Switzerland, and at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (MDW) in Vienna, Austria. In 2022, she added another string to her bow and trained in violin with Patrick Genet at the HEM in Geneva.
Passionate about ensemble music, Agnès has played under the direction of great conductors such as Pierre Bleuse and Gabor Takács-Nagy. She now specializes in chamber music and regularly performs in various groups on European stages. She was notably called to play alongside the famous concert artists Alexandra Soumm and Fabrizzio Von Arz at the Festival des Bastions in 2021, or numerous soloists from the Orchestre de Suisse Romande including François Payet-Labonne, Sidonie Bougamont, Léonard Frey-Maibach, Jean-Pierre Berry, Gabriel Esteban, Jarita Ng in April and May 2023 at the FestiAscension Festival in Nandaz, Switzerland.
Eager for discovery, Agnès trained in jazz and contemporary music at the Haute École de Musique de Genève and regularly performs film music and traditional tunes (notably klezmer and Irish).
